I believe the role of a Technology Coordinator/Technology Director is multifaceted and complex. However, one distinctive priority in my mind for a Tech Coordinator/TechDirector should grow all learners in the learning process by implementing appropriate and effective technologies that are conducive to the delivery of school approved curriculum, assessments, and activities for enriching the educational environment.

- Must have knowledge and experience of technologies with technical skills in computer hardware, software, network, computer use, mobile device use, and learning management systems.
- Able to sustain and strong cybersecurity infrastructure for the district.
- Must supervise all things related to technologies involving the implementation, maintenance, training, upgrades, policies and procedures, developing, innovations, budgeting, and purchasing of technologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate, direct, train, and lead stake holders toward 21stcentury learning.
- Must be a visionary and foresee a world that doesn’t yet exist.
- Able to problem solve under pressure in an efficient manner
- Must maintain an approachable, respectable, and personable demeaner with all stake holders.
